Boost your favorability in court, in case of a self-defense incident. One of the first questions will be “do you know how to use your firearm? Are you proficient with your firearm? The answer should be yes. But how do you prove it? Being able to show documentation like certificates of training will do that for you.

The emphasis of this course is on defensive / offensive rifle handling and shooting drills. Designed for the patrol officer or armed citizen wanting to increase proficiency.
The class covers:
Difference between precision and reflexive fire – Weapon manipulation – Malfunction clearance drills – Proper loading and unloading techniques – Multiple target engagement and target transitions – Strong and support side shooting – Engaging targets while on the move – Proper use of slings – Use of a rifle in short to mid-range environments from 20 to 150 yards – Proper loading and unloading techniques – How to equip your rifle for the task at hand – Difference between precision and reflexive fire (POINT SHOOTING) – Rapid target acquisition with emphasis on shooting speed – Improved stance – Speed reloading – Proper use of slings — Sling transition left to right – Strong and support side shooting – Proper loading and unloading techniques – Engaging targets at various distances – Engaging targets from various shooting positions, standing, Prone, high kneeling and low kneeling on the side – How to shoot from various barricaded positions. Proper weapon transitions from rifle to handgun and handgun to rifle. Stationary and on the move.
Fighting while wounded, principals of personal defense. Mental conditioning and combat mindset. Combat gun-handling skills. Transition from strong hand to support hand. Reloading the semi-automatic pistol & rifle with one hand. Clearing malfunctions and stoppages with one hand.
Engaging threats using the support hand only. Moving off the line and lateral displacement. Engaging threats, one handed only while shooting on the move or from cover to cover.
Engaging threats from the supine position and fighting back to standing. Engaging threats while lying on the strong side. Engaging threats while lying on the support side. Engaging threats from the prone position and fighting back to standing.
Engaging threats from the seated position on the ground and fighting back to standing. Use of the flash sight picture vs. perfect sight alignment. CQB continuous engagement flow drills.
Weapon retention training: If you carry concealed with the intent of using a gun to defend yourself, the last thing you want to happen is for it to be taken away and used against you. As a concealed carry weapon owner, you must know how to retain control of your gun at all times. Learn to protect and keep your weapon safe and in your possession while in its normal carry position, during an assault or physical confrontation or after you have drawn it during an encounter.
Student requirements: Walk, run, roll around on the ground – get dusty, dirty, muddy – repeat!

- Personal defense pistol with at least (3) hi-capacity magazines or (5) single stack magazines
- Knee pads

- Handgun cleaning kit and gun oil
- Ammunition requirements:
- 200+ rounds FOR PISTOL
- For AR-15, M16, M4, you’ll also need at least 3 Rifle Magazines
- 2 Mag pouches
- 400+ rounds of rifle ammo
- Rain gear
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Hydration system
- Plenty of water & food
- PLATE CARRIERS AND BATTLE BELTS ARE OK.
- A tactical vest or a chest harness (battle belts will work).

Refund Policy
We understand that schedules can change or for whatever reason you may be unable to attend the class for which you have registered. We have determined that our class fees are non-refundable for any reason. We will, however, allow you to reschedule 1 time and participate in a future class at no charge if 72 hr notice has been given. If we have not received a minimum of 72 hr notice from you a $150.00 fee will be charged to reschedule per person. Please send us an email 72 hrs prior to missing a class to let us know the future date you like to attend. We will try to make sure we have a spot available. NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE RE SCHEDULED. CLASSES MAY BE CANCELED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. IF A CLASS IS CANCELED BY IFC YOU WILL BE RESCHEDULED ONLY TO AN OTHER CLASS ASAP NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
