Pistol Mounted Optics class was designed specifically for those who have chosen to utilize a pistol mounted optic sighting system.

In this course, students will not only build and sharpen their fundamental handgun skills, they will also gain a much better understanding of a pistol mounted optic and its advantages. From improving the performance of any shooter, To maximizing the advantages having a single focal plane sighting system, to utilizing the PMO as a self-diagnostic training tool and much more. There’s a reason why top level recreational, competitive, and defensive shooters have turned to pistol mounted optics, it’s time for you to discover why.

This course involves basic to advanced marksmanship fundamentals and weapon manipulation techniques while operating RDS equipped handguns. It will cover RDS zeroing techniques, efficiency of draw and presentation, dot tracking and acquisition and target transitions; consequently developing necessary skills in preparing you to more effectively deploy your platform.

Introduction to RDS system, Zeroing the RDS, Posture and recoil management, Dot acquisition and draw efficiency, RDS use at variable distances, RDS Drills and Manipulation, Identifying limitations of speed and accuracy, Reloads and malfunctions with RDS, Dot tracking while transitioning targets.

A quality Outside the waistband holster
3 magazine holsters or pouch

a STURDY SHOOTING BELT (Battle belts ok)

Please dress appropriately / according to weather conditions.

Rental firearms include 100 rounds of ammunition.

Arrival: Be at the range by 12:45 PM for a safety briefing at 1:00 PM sharp. Look for a black truck and white trailer; do not park at the big building above the range.

Refund Policy

We understand that schedules can change or for whatever reason you may be unable to attend the class for which you have registered. We have determined that our class fees are non-refundable for any reason. We will, however, allow you to reschedule 1 time ONLY and participate in a future class at no charge if 72 hr notice has been given. If we have not received a minimum of 72 hr notice from you a $150.00 fee will be charged to reschedule per person. Please send us an email 72 hrs prior to missing a class to let us know the future date you like to attend. We will try to make sure we have a spot available. NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE RE SCHEDULED. CLASSES MAY BE CANCELED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. IF A CLASS IS CANCELED BY IFC YOU WILL BE RESCHEDULED ONLY TO ANOTHER CLASS ASAP NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. MAY BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION.
